Locum Consultant in Clinical Oncology (Less than full time post, 8.13 PAs) From £109,725 p.a. excl. LZ (pro-rata) Commencing as soon as possible Please see attachment for full JD and PS We are seeking amotivated and experienced clinicianwith a specialist interest in Prostate Cancer. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of established consultants includingDrs Stephen Morris, Gurdip Azad, Van Ren Sim, Ajay Aggarwal, Vinod Mullassery, Kirsty Morrison, Simon Hughes andSindu Vivekanandan. The service is led byDr Hartmut Kristeleit, Clinical Director for Oncology, andDr Ben Taylor, Deputy Clinical Director for Clinical Oncology. This Consultant post comprises8.13 Programmed Activities (PAs)and is focused on supporting theProstate Oncology Servicesat GSTT and KCH. Applicants must be fully registered with theGMC/GDC, hold aLicence to Practise, and be listed on theSpecialist Registerwith CCTin Oncology - or within 6 months of attaining CCT by the date of interview. AFellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR)or equivalent is essential, along with broad experience inClinical Oncology, includingsystemic anti-cancer therapy, radiotherapy, andStereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT). Aresearch degreeis highly desirable.

Job Summary: To provide clinical oncology services to the GSTFT Cancer Centre and South East London Cancer Network. To participate in research activities and clinical trials as required. To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care. To take an active part in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training. To contribute to the management of the clinical service and service development.
