Salaried GP

We are seeking a motivated salaried GP to join our team for 6 sessions per week, worked across Wednesday to Friday. You will:

Provide continuity of care to a diverse patient population, including routine and urgent appointments, home visits and telephone and online consultations Work collaboratively with colleagues, the wider primary care network and community teams Contribute to the practice's clinical governance, quality improvement and QOF delivery Share in the practice's duty and on-call arrangements, pro rata

Conduct patient consultations, assess symptoms, diagnose conditions and provide appropriate treatment.

Manage acute and chronic medical conditions and coordinate ongoing patient care.

Prescribe medications and review treatment plans safely.

Refer patients to specialists and other healthcare services when necessary.

Provide preventative care, health promotion, screening and immunisations.

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using clinical IT systems.

Respond to urgent medical problems and provide appropriate follow-up care.

Work collaboratively with nurses, pharmacists, healthcare professionals and administrative staff.

Participate in clinical meetings, audits, significant event reviews and quality improvement activities.
