Phlebotomist / Healthcare Assistant- GP Practice

The post is being offered at 16-30hpw, working Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6.30pm. The role will offer you the opportunity to build on your experience and development of working effectively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team. The Healthcare Assistant will deliver and assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education whilst also supporting the administrative/nursing teams on an as-required basis. Duties will include not not limited to: venepuncture, baseline observations eg blood pressure, temperature, pulse, BMI, advising patients of test results on the phone in, support nurses where required, new patient health checks, chaperoning, ECG's.
