Job summary We are currently seeking recruitment of a GP Maternity Cover to join our dynamic and friendly team. Two Partnership practice and are open to Salaried with a view to Partnership should this be something you are interested in but not essential. We are looking for a GP to cover Mat Leave to join the team and be inspired and help inspire others. A team player and someone who is driven and enthusiastic about patient care. We are seeking Maternity Cover, this GP will work as a salaried GP alongside the team. Requirement would be to do a Duty Day and Home Visits on a non-duty day. Visits are mainly handled by the Duty Team that works alongside our duty doctors.
Main duties of the job We are looking for a Salaried GP to provide maternity leave cover, supporting our Partners and practice team within our innovative Duty Doctor Rota. We are seeking a GP for 6 sessions per week, (4 Routine sessions and 2 Duty Sessions, one duty AM and one Duty PM not on the same day( with Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays being essential. Other sessions are negotiable. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care, contribute to the management of acute and routine presentations, and work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team. NHS Pension and medical indemnity cover are included.
Overview of your organisation We would be happy for any interested candidate to attend our Practice for an informal viewing (Or formal) to come and see the Surgery and to meet our strong GP, Nursing, Admin and Reception teams. We are a hard working practice who strive to give good patient care. Patient list size 11,700 Part of a Patient Participation Group Various Practice meetings including weekly GP meetings for clinical discussion and support of colleagues Take apart in QoF The practice uses SystmOne and are signed up to Ardens templates for easier access and use when consulting with patients. Part of Online eConsult Workflow optimisation team, coding all letters and communications saving GP admin time. Strong working teams across the practice to help support GPs. BMA Rota system 1.Pension 10,500 per session The Practice is also part of the Leighton Buzzard Primary Care Network Team, supporting patients with non-medical problems, improving Primary Care Patient access.
