Middleway Surgery is expanding and were on the lookout for a motivated GP to join our friendly, forward-thinking team for 68 sessions per week (with potential for future partnership ).

The following are the core responsibilities of the Salaried GP. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staff levels:a. The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled populationb. The provision of services GMS contractc. Generic prescribing adhering to guidanced. Effective management of long-term conditions e. Processing of admin in a timely manner, including referrals,prescription requests and associated admin tasksf. On a rota basis, undertake tel triage and duty doctor rolesg. Maintain accurate clinical records h. Work collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workloadi. Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit processj. . Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOFl. Attend & contribute effectively to practice meetings asrequiredm. Contribute effective to the development and maintenance of the practice including clinical governance and trainingn. Ensure compliance with the appraisal processo. complete the revalidation processp. Commit to self-learning. Support the training of medical studentsr. Support the partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, making recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditures. adhere to practice protocols and policiest. Encourage collaborative working, liaising with staff regularly, always promoting a culture of continuous improvement

We are friendly, dynamic, forward thinking and a supportive GMS practice, with above average earnings and have 3 GP partners, 1 salaried GP, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs, pharmacists, physios, social prescribers, womens health nurse and a full comprehensive admin team.

Essential

Experience of working in a primary care environment
Experience of continued professional development
Experience of QOF and clinical audit
Minimum of two years as a salaried GP
General understanding of the GMS contract
