Consultant in Cardiology - Heart Failure OR Imaging

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Cardiology team at Rotherham Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a Consultant Cardiologist with either a specialist interest in Heart Failure or Cardiac Imaging (advanced echo and cardiac CT). This is a flexible recruitment opportunity where we are seeking to appoint one consultant post, with the specialist area determined by the successful candidates expertise and interests. The post has been developed as part of ongoing work to strengthen and modernise Cardiology services, improve patient pathways and support sustainable service delivery across the wider system. The successful candidate will join a supportive and forward-thinking department with opportunities to contribute to service development, pathway redesign, education, governance and quality improvement work. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is committed to delivering high quality patient care and helping shape the future direction of Cardiology services within the Trust.

The department would particularly welcome applicants with an interest in developing Heart Failure services, including pathway redesign, outpatient transformation and integrated working across acute and community settings, alongside applicants with an interest in Cardiac Imaging services including Echocardiography, Stress Echo, CT Coronary Angiography (CTCA) and Transoesophageal Echocardiography (TOE).
