Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine

We are excited to present this unique opportunity for a post FY2 doctor with at least four months experience in EM. Here is a chance to develop your clinical skills in Emergency Medicine. This post will allow the successful appointee the ability to 'add something extra' to their CV, and would be particularly suitable for someone who wishes to take a "professional gap year." For candidates with Emergency Medicine experience on an existing training scheme this post would offer an opportunity to pursue a special interest as part of an Out of Programme Experience (OOPE) block.

The successful candidate will be fully involved in all aspects of the work of the department under the supervision of the consultants and will attend to the initial assessment and treatment of the patients attending the department across the spectrum of Emergency Medicine.

The post holder will participate in the Education and Training, Clinical Audit, Clinical Risk Management and the Clinical Governance activities of the Department and Trust ensuring full and proper records are completed for this purpose.
