Locum Applied Psychologist - Staff Psychological Wellbeing Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide maternity cover to the Staff Psychological Wellbeing Service.Our county-wide service supports staff in all areas of the Acute Trust experiencing emotional & psychological difficulties in order to alleviate their distress and foster their capacity to thrive and be fulfilled at work.This is a critically important time to work in this area, helping to support our diverse workforce cope with the ongoing challenges of work.This is part of the Trusts aspiration to build a sustainable culture of positive health and wellbeing including preventative interventions. This is a varied post which provides a perfect opportunity for a psychologist with an interest in systems, organisational processes or occupational psychology. The service will provide a range of staff support interventions including working with leaders to promote practices to support staff wellbeing. Reporting to the Lead Consultant Psychologist, the post holder will provide staff support for a broad range of issues including stress, trauma and chronic / long term conditions realised via individual, team and organisation-based assessments and interventions. Prior experience of working in staff support is not essential, the most important qualities are good communication skills, working co-operatively and thinking creatively. We will consider job share, flexible working arrangements and hybrid working arrangements around the travel requirements of the post.
