Consultant Psychiatrist

We are the Defence Mental Health Services (DMHS) and we are searching for a professional, motivated Psychiatrist to join our encouraging and friendly team at Venning Barracks, Donnington. The DMHS work under the purview of Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC). DPHC is an inclusive and dedicated organisation working hard to provide excellent care to our entitled personnel! The role of DPHC is to provide and commission a safe, effective, and efficient healthcare service for entitled personnel contributing to the maximisation of Service personnel fit for task as agreed with the Single Services. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing effective care, with an approach based on recovery and rehabilitation, to Service Personnel (SP) and entitled civilians, with timely access to skilled and effective assessment, treatment and occupational recommendations that meets the needs of the individual and the Chain of Command (CoC).
