Ashford and St Peters Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Women's Health and Paediatrics Division Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist Recruitment 1. Permanent Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology: Urogynaecology This post is a permanent position for a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a special interest in Urogynaecology. It is expected that the successful candidates will contribute to both Obstetrics and Gynaecology.. The candidate will also have a role in providing Labour Ward, Obstetrics and Gynaecology on-calls, Emergency Gynaecology and Elective Caesarean section lists. The candidate will also have opportunities to contribute to wider departmental responsibilities such as Governance and Leadership and Education. Candidates must have full GMC registration, have CCT (or be within 6 months of obtaining it), and be on the specialist register with evidence of training in urogynaecology. They must also be keen and willing to partake in the Obstetrics on call and cover (non-resident). This substantive post attract 10 PAs in an approximate 8.5:1.5 split and includes a 1 in 16 non-resident on call rota and a 1 in 16 consultant of the week duty. Flexibility in job planning is a key part of the role. We pay particular attention to work-life balance and the job plan reflects this. Applicants wishing to work part time will also be considered.
