Interviews will be held on 2/6/26 Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking to appoint a 12 month Locum Consultant in Emergency Medicine to join the Urgent & Emergency Care Directorate, working at Charing Cross Hospital. This post offers the opportunity to practise Emergency Medicine at scale within one of the UK's leading Academic Health Science Centres, delivering high-quality care to diverse patient populations in a Type 1 Emergency Department. The role is predominantly clinical, providing senior clinical leadership and decision-making within busy emergency departments, while also offering protected non-clinical time to support professional development. Consultants are encouraged to develop interests aligned to service needs and personal career goals, including education, quality improvement, leadership, research, frailty, mental health, major trauma or same-day emergency care. Posts may be based at a single site or include cross-site working by agreement, supported through annual team job planning.
