About the role
As a Practice Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of primary care services within our practice. You will work closely with GPs, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff to provide holistic and patient-centred care. Your role will include, but is not limited to: Long term conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, hypertension) and preventative health care. We are particularly interested in candidates with respiratory experience. Immunisations and vaccinations, including childhood and travel vaccinations Cervical cytology screening Health promotion and education Wound care, dressings, and minor injuries Family planning and sexual health services Support in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives Infection Control Assisting with minor procedures and phlebotomy
Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration Experience working in a primary care or community setting. Strong clinical skills in chronic disease management, immunisations, and wound care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
