Salaried GP

Northlands Surgery are looking to recruit a Salaried GP for 4 to 6 sessions per week to join our friendly, supportive and forward-thinking team. Our purpose-built training practice is situated in the historic market town of Calne, nestled in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside between Chippenham and Marlborough, just 15 minutes from the M4 and 30 minutes from Bath. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a genuinely supportive team environment. We are a progressive practice with a strong clinical and administrative team, excellent continuity of care, and an active role within our PCN and ICB. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking to work within a collaborative and well-organised practice that values innovation, teamwork and staff wellbeing.

The successful candidate will help deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care to the patients of Northlands Surgery. The role includes routine and urgent consultations, telephone and online consultations, home visits where required, reviewing and signing repeat prescriptions, and managing clinical correspondence and queries. You will work autonomously whilst also being part of a highly supportive multidisciplinary team, assessing and managing patients with a wide range of undifferentiated and long-term conditions. The role also includes health promotion, screening, preventative care, and developing management plans in line with current clinical guidance and best practice.
