Salaried GP

We are looking for a Salaried GP to join our friendly practice in Westhoughton for 6-7 sessions per week. Salary negotiable. 7,153 Patients Systm One computer system Partners willing and happy to provide support as necessary

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will be responsible for the delivery of medical services to patients registered with the practice. The post-holder will be responsible for providing support for the day-to-day provision of primary care services and involvement in the development of services to meet the needs of the practice population.

We currently have 2 GP partners, 1 Salaried GP, 1 advanced nurse practitioner, 1 practice nurse, 1 Nursing associate 1 HCA and admin support. We also have extended staff that work across our network which include MSK, MH Practitioner, Clinical Pharmacist, Visiting Clinician Social prescribers and Health improvement practitioners. We are a training practice currently hosting ST2, FY1 Doctors and trainee nurses Admin are trained to streamline volume of workflow passed onto GPs. Visiting Clinician has reduced the home visit requests for GPs. CQC rating Good Qof Achievement is Good Part of the westhoughton PCN which is Unsworth Group Practice and Stable Fold Surgery and we work well together.
