Job title: General Practitioner Location: Lucas Avenue Practice Salary: Up to £108,000 depending on experience Hours: 5 sessions per week (Monday 9-5 Thursday 9-12 Friday 9-5) Lucas Avenue Practice is a well-established NHS GP surgery based in Plaistow, East London, providing primary healthcare services to patients across Newham and the surrounding communities. The practice offers a wide range of services including routine GP appointments, chronic disease management, womens health, childhood immunisations, health screening, mental health support, family planning, and preventative care. The practice is supported by a multidisciplinary team of GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants, pharmacists, care coordinators, and administrative staff who are committed to delivering accessible, patient-centred care. As a General Practitioner at Lucas Avenue Practice, you will deliver high quality clinical care to registered patients and collaborate closely with clinical leads and the local practice team to support the delivery of the surgeries operational plan. Your responsibilities include participation in clinical governance activities, contributing to quality health outcomes through audit and Quality and Outcomes Framework, and supporting the practice in achieving CQC standards. You will provide clinical care in line with the total triage model including consultations, telephone triage, and other clinical administration. You are expected to adhere to GMC standards, prioritize individual patient care, and work with the practice management to support surgery action plans. Experience as a GP with accreditation and knowledge of clinical systems like SystmOne or EMISweb is preferred.
