Consultant Psychiatrist

We are the Defence Mental Health Services (DMHS) and we are searching for a professional, motivated Psychiatrist to join our encouraging and friendly team at RAF Brize Norton Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC). DPHC is an inclusive and dedicated organisation working hard to provide excellent care to our entitled personnel! The role of DPHC is to provide and commission a safe, effective, and efficient healthcare service for entitled personnel contributing to the maximisation of Service personnel fit for task as agreed with the Single Services. This is a Fixed Term Appointment until April 2028, full time position, offering 40 hours per week. Part time hours may be available on a job share basis to meet business demands. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing effective care, with an approach based on recovery and rehabilitation, to Service Personnel (SP) and entitled civilians, with timely access to skilled and effective assessment, treatment and occupational recommendations that meets the needs of the individual and the Chain of Command (CoC).
