Salaried GP

The Elizabeth Courtauld Surgery is delighted to invite you to consider joining our friendly and collaborative team in the growing community of Halstead. We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced GPs looking for 6 sessions a week, as we seek to expand our team further with additional salaried GPs. Our experienced multi-disciplinary clinical team includes 5 GP partners, 2 salaried GPs, 2 nurse practitioners, 2 paramedics, 5 practice nurses, 4 healthcare assistants, phlebotomist, a clinical pharmacist, and a large highly committed administrative staff fostering a truly collaborative approach to patient care. We also have a wide range of additional services and support, available through our wider NHS community and primary care network, including social prescribers, MSK practitioner, young persons' mental health practitioner, and cancer care coordinators, as well as 2 additional paramedics and pharmacists. Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems. Screening patients for disease-risk factors and early signs of illness. Developing care plans for health in line with current practice protocols. Providing health education. Recording clear consultation notes to agreed standards. Collecting data for audit purposes and complying with QOF requirements. Delivering enhanced services. Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions. Providing all general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
