Clinical Fellow (ST1/2) in Brain Injury Rehabilitation Medicine

Applications are invited for a highly motivated Clinical Fellow in Brain Injury Rehabilitation based at the Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, situated in the grounds of Frenchay Hospital on the outskirts of the cosmopolitan city of Bristol. This is a full time appointment for 30 hours per week, with the need for occasional flexibility. There is no on-call commitment. The Centre is a highly reputable, busy 52 bed unit offering brain injury rehabilitation for adolescent and adult patients, including patients with complex acquired neurological injuries and may include patients with a tracheostomy or challenging behaviours.

The Clinical Fellow is encouraged to play an active role in all aspects of the assessment and management of patients. The particular role, of the Clinical Fellow, is to provide continuity of medical care, day to day management of the in-patient service, report preparation and close liaison with the Centre's friendly inter-disciplinary team. The post holder will have close working relationships with the acute neurosciences services.
