Clinical Fellow in Endocrinology

Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is seeking applications for a fixed-term Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Endocrinology, commencing ASAP until 31 March 2027.

This fellowship is an excellent opportunity for doctors with an interest in paediatric endocrinology and obesity, particularly those considering sub-specialty training. The post holder will play an active role in the CEW service, working closely within a multidisciplinary team to support the care of children and young people.

The role offers valuable experience in clinical management, alongside opportunities to contribute to teaching and training, audit, and relevant research projects, supporting both professional development and future career progression.

The post holder  will play an active role in the delivery and development of the Complications of Excess Weight (CEW) service at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. This post offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a nationally recognised multidisciplinary Paediatric obesity service at a time of rapid national change in obesity management, including emerging pharmacotherapy pathways, integrated care models and preventative health initiatives.
