This exciting permanent position offers 6 sessions over three full days (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday), combining rewarding clinical work with opportunities to lead, innovate and inspire. Person specification

Essential

Experience of working as a GP within a primary care setting, delivering safe, effective and patient-centred care.
Experience of independently assessing, diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute, chronic and complex medical conditions.
Experience of managing patients with multiple health needs and providing continuity of care.
Experience of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating excellent communication and collaborative working.
Experience of safe prescribing, medicines management and maintaining accurate clinical records.
Experience of recognising and managing safeguarding concerns involving children and vulnerable adults.
Evidence of ongoing professional development, reflective practice and commitment to clinical governance.
Experience of using electronic clinical systems and managing clinical and administrative workloads effectively.
Fully qualified General Practitioner with a recognised UK GP qualification (MRCGP or equivalent).
Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC), with a licence to practise.
Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List.
Eligibility to practise independently as a GP in the UK.
Appropriate medical defence indemnity arrangements.
Commitment to maintaining professional registration, annual appraisal, revalidation and continuing professional development.

Desirable

Experience of undertaking a clinical leadership role, particularly as a Safeguarding Lead or Deputy Safeguarding Lead.
Experience of supporting safeguarding processes, multidisciplinary safeguarding discussions and the development of best practice.
Experience of using Abtrace or similar digital clinical decision-support systems to support proactive patient care.
Experience of leading or supporting the implementation of new clinical technologies, systems or service improvements.
Experience of teaching, supervising or mentoring medical students, Foundation Year 2 (F2) doctors and GP registrars.
Experience of working within an established GP training practice and contributing to educational supervision.
Experience of leading clinical audits, quality improvement projects or practice development initiatives.
