Consultant In Anaesthesia

This post is for three full time Consultant Anaesthetists to work on the Barnet,Chase Farm sites. This post covers theatres with a mixture of fixed and flexiblesessions.The successful candidate will be expected to provide anaesthetic cover invarious areas. Areas include emergency, trauma and labour ward cover as wellas cover for elective theatre lists. The current specialties include Obstetrics &Gynaecology, Urology, General Surgery, Maxillo-Facial, ENT andOrthopaedics.The job will come with a 1:16 on call commitment. The post holder will be basedat Barnet Hospital and will provide overnight cover for obstetric and generalemergencies.Weekend elective lists may be required in the future. An option for an 11th PAmay be offered during job planning depending on service requirements,however, this is not required to undertake. A job planning review will take placewithin the first three months.
