Salaried GP

The Whickham Practice We have an opportunity for a GP to join our well established, friendly team in Gateshead as a salaried GP. This is an additional role. We are a single site practice working from a very pleasant, purpose built surgery and we look after approximately 15,600 patients. Our stable team comprises of 5 partners, 5 salaried doctors, a paediatric Nurse Practitioner, practice nurses, health care assistants, GPAs and phlebotomists supported by a full complement of highly experienced administrators and reception staff. We are also a member of Gateshead Inner West PCN and share a frailty nurse, link workers, physiotherapists, a mental health practitioner, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with 3 other practices. We adhere to safe-working guidance from the BMA. We have a long legacy in Whickham of both undergraduate and postgraduate education and we are currently engaged with teaching GP Registrars and medical students. We are looking for a doctor to work 5-7 clinical sessions plus 1 admin session. We are happy to be flexible for the right candidate and we are looking at someone starting as soon as possible. You will have a highly supportive working environment focusing on your professional and personal well-being. We actively support all clinical staff to pursue their special interests and have previously supported GP's to develop their involvement in dermatology and information technology.
