Salaried GP

East Street Surgery is a well-established GP practice located in North Southwark, with excellent road and transport links. We are seeking a Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team. The post is for 8 sessions per week (with the option of job share) and is available from August 2026. We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive GP committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and take an active role in the day-to-day life of the practice, including participation in meetings, education programmes, and service development. The postholder will undertake clinical sessions comprising a mix of face-to-face and remote consultations. Key responsibilities include: Assessing, diagnosing and managing patients presenting with acute and chronic conditions Conducting clinical examinations, investigations and procedures Providing preventative care and lifestyle advice Managing referrals, prescriptions, laboratory results and clinical correspondence Handling clinical queries, including medical reports Undertaking home visits when clinically required Participating in QOF, population health management and quality improvement activity Contributing to practice meetings, education and service development Delivering safe, effective and evidence-based care
