About the role
University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated Locum Consultant Surgeon in Endocrine and General Surgery to join our established Endocrine Surgery team. The team are part of the GI Services Division within the Surgery & Cancer Board. This is a key service-facing role with two clear and high-impact priorities:o Reducing General Surgery waiting times through the delivery of dedicated general surgery operating lists, ando Supporting the Endocrine Surgery service to bridge activity delivery between 40-52 weeks, ensuring compliance with national standards and improving patient access. Applicants must hold full GMC registration and be on (or within six months of entry to) the Specialist Register in General Surgery. Independent laparoscopic practice, broad general surgery capability and a commitment to teamwork and education are essential.
