About the role
The Reddish Family Practice is a friendly and progressive two-site GP practice within Stockport, just inside the M60 with easy access to the city of Manchester and the Peak District National Park. Serving around 11,500 patients, we have a well-established clinical team comprising 5 GP Partners, 1 Clinical Pharmacist Partner and 5 Salaried GPs, alongside an extensive wider multidisciplinary team, working closely with Tame Valley PCN. We pride ourselves on providing excellent patient care while supporting the wellbeing, development and contribution of our staff. We are a training practice and have a positive approach to innovation; continually looking for ways to improve the services we provide and way we work. We have a "Good" CQC rating (2016) and strong QOF and Enhanced Service achievement, long term condition review system, and offer an extensive range of services onsite including minor surgery, phlebotomy and ECGs; reflecting our commitment to high standards of clinical care and practice organisation. The Reddish Family Practice is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP for 6 sessions per week (Tue, Wed, Friday) to join our friendly, busy and supportive practice team. Duties and features include: Up to 25 patient appointments in clinic per day mix of phone and f2f, plus 1-2 home visits. Extras are dealt with by the on-call GP. 10 or 15 minute appointments with catchups as preferred by the clinician Clinical and results admin are shared between the GPs in practice per day. Weekly clinical team meetings to discuss cases. Supervision slots provided to support with supervision of trainees Emis Web clinical system, with integrated AccuRx for online triage. Docman and Microsoft 365. Teamnet for HR Clinical admin and results are shared between the GPs in practice per day. Rota'd oncall / Triage half days - 1-2 sessions per week working with 2nd on call GP and Reception triage support team. Team works across both sites to provide consistent care and rota'd sessions. Opportunities for extended access cover Tuesday nights 6.30 - 8pm and Autumn Saturday Flu clinics. Saturdays (1in 6) rota'd usually by partnership. Further clinical support provided by Nursing and HCA team, Admin and Secretarial, SIPS Pharmacy team, FCP Physio team, Cancer Care Coordinator, Health & Wellbeing Coordinator, Social Prescribers, Mental Health Coordinators amongst others.
