Locum Consultant in the department of Renal Medicine
The Leeds Renal Service is seeking to appoint a Locum Consultant Nephrologist. The post will be 10 PA appointment and will be available from March 2026, initially for 6 months. There are also plans to advertise for a substantive consultant.
The successful applicant should hold accreditation in Membership of the Royal College of Physicians or equivalent and should be on the Specialist Register or within six months of being admitted to the Register for trainees if currently in a training programme within the UK, or have references which have been authorised by the Deputy Medical Director and Clinical Director.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of clinical experience and competence in all aspects of renal medicine, including the management and care of chronic haemodialysis and renal transplant patients. Excellent communication and team working skills, a strong commitment to teaching and service development are essential.
