About the role
Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is offering an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest, progressive radiology departments in the UK at Southmead Hospital Operating Unit (SHOU), a major teaching hospital, Level 1 Major Trauma Centre, and key tertiary referral centre serving the South West. This substantive Consultant Radiologist post offers a broad, high-volume and clinically diverse abdominopelvic imaging practice, supported by exceptionally close multidisciplinary working with gastroenterology, hepatology, colorectal surgery, upper GI surgery, hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery, urology, oncology and emergency care teams. The abdomino-pelvic radiology team works closely with nationally recognised endoscopic services, including advanced therapeutic endoscopy/ complex polypectomy/ capsule endoscopy and double-balloon enteroscopy. Applicants should have a CCT or be within six months of achieving this at the date of interview or be listed on the GMC's specialist register to be eligible for application for a substantive post. CESR applicants are welcome and must have their CESR in place at the time of interview.
