Salaried GP

St James Practice is looking to appoint a motivated and patient-centred Salaried GP to join our experienced and supportive multidisciplinary team. (There is an opportunity for List holding) This role offers an excellent opportunity for a General Practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality, personalised care while enjoying continuity with their own patient list. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative environment that values clinical excellence, teamwork, and professional development.

We welcome applications from GPs with experience in General Practice settings, although all suitably qualified candidates who share our commitment to outstanding patient care are encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will: Hold and manage an agreed patient list in conjunction with the Partners. Provide routine and urgent GP consultations, both face-to-face and by telephone where clinically appropriate. Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Prescribe safely and appropriately, arrange investigations, and make referrals when required. Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records. Apply effective clinical decision-making, including appropriate safety-netting and follow-up. Work collaboratively with GPs, nursing staff, pharmacists, and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Participate in clinical meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and practice development activities.
