Locum Consultant Fetal Cardiologist

The post-holder will be expected to help develop the joint fetal services within the Directorate. The Post-holder will contribute to assessment and setting management plans for fetal patients diagnosed with heart disease as well as supporting the Fetal and Paediatric Cardiac Network. The post-holder will be a member of the Fetal and Paediatric Cardiology Service of the Children's Cardio-Respiratory and Intensive Care directorate, part of the Evelina London Women and Children's Clinical Group. The post-holder will be expected to work closely with existing consultants and the multidisciplinary team to provide a clinical service of excellence for the foetuses and children with congenital or acquired heart disease. The post-holder will be expected to contribute to all aspects of the care of foetuses and children requiring cardiac care, including when in paediatric intensive care and high dependency units. The post holder will be expected to contribute to paediatric cardiology clinics (both at centre and in network) and take part in the general paediatric cardiology on call rota. The post holder will be expected to actively participate in the research, education, and administrative responsibilities of the fetal and paediatric department, as well as generally support the Trust and its Directorate of Children's services.
