Consultant Plastic Surgeon - Skin & Mohs Interest

The post is for a substantive Consultant in Plastic Surgery with a Skin Cancer and Mohs and Surgery interest. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated surgeon to join a dynamic, rapidly expanding team delivering multidisciplinary care within the Mersey Regional Burns and Plastic Surgery unit based at Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This is a whole-time post with a weekly peripheral site clinical commitment. Applicants are required to hold Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (UK or equivalent qualifications), to be fully registered with the General Medical Council, and to be on the Specialist Register or due to obtain their CCT within six months of the date of interview. Interviews will take place on Friday 11th December 2026.

The appointee will have a responsibility for the running of their clinical service, integrating this with the department as a whole and ensuring appropriate communication with general practitioners, managers, and hospital committees. The appointee will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of relevant aspects if the Trusts contractual obligations and business plans.
