About the role
Applications are invited for a locum post in Intensive Care Medicine at one of Europe's leading hospital sites at Southmead Hospital, Bristol. Applicants who wish to undertake partner specialty work in anaesthesia and/or critical care transfer medicine will be welcome. This is an exciting period for the Unit as it takes forward its 5 year strategy and rolls out service improvements including the introduction of a Clinical Information System. The plans also include continued collaboration with its local Units through the newly formed Severn Sub-Regional Network of hospitals and also supporting the new Retrieve adult critical care transfer service. Applicants are required to be on the Specialist Register for Intensive Care Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine or be within six months of obtaining it by the interview date. If partner specialty work is to be undertaken then applicants will be required to be on the Specialist Register for that partner specialty. Full Registration with the GMC is essential. CESR applicants are welcome and must have their CESR in place at the time of the interview.
