Salaried General Practitioner

Stockport East and South PCN are looking to expand our team by seeking to employ a highly motivated, General Practitioner to work alongside our practices and PCN staff. This is an exciting opportunity to join our multi-disciplinary PCN team consisting of 8 GP Practices, Clinical Pharmacists, Paramedics, Social Prescribers, Physiotherapists, Care Coordinators, Health Coach and Pharmacist Technicians. SESSIONS: We will consider applications between 2-8 sessions a week, subject to this fitting the needs of the PCN PLACE OF WORK:Stockport South and East PCN. EMPLOYER: Practice within the PCN. CONTRACT: 6 month fixed term contract and subject to the funding related to the ARRS role. To perform as an autonomous general practitioner working independently and with other health care professionals to assess, diagnose and treat the conditions of patients attending within a primary care setting, both in practice and on home visits. Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues and ensure the maintenance of clinical excellence. To be professionally accountable and responsible for all elements of clinical practice in accordance with the GMC code of conduct ensuring the safety of patients and quality of their care is primary. The post holder will need to have full access to a car to enable full geographical working across Stockport East and South PCN and work flexibly to meet the needs of the PCN.
