Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
or eligible for specialist registration within six months of interview (This does not apply to CESR applicants)
or Holder of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), or evidence of within six months of award of CCT or equivalent by date of interview.
FRCR.
Evidence of thorough and broad training and experience in GI/abdominal radiology
Able to take responsibility for delivering the service without direct supervision.
Up to date knowledge and experience in GI and abdominal radiology
Understanding of clinical governance and the individual responsibilities it implies
Knowledge of the principles of clinical audit and evidence of participation
Positive approach to evidence-based practice
Participation in continuing professional development (CPD) scheme and, where relevant, evidence of participation.
Knowledge of the principals involved in research
