About the role

(30 hours per week) Are you looking for something different? Beccles Medical Centre is a large, vibrant, innovative training Practice by the River Waveney, a stone's throw from beautiful sandy beaches on the Norfolk/Suffolk coast. We are a forward-thinking Practice and pride ourselves on being ahead of the game with our well-developed multidisciplinary team and partnership. "Thinking outside of the box" is our catchphrase and we are looking for a salaried GP who is ready to ride the train of "what's next" with us. We can offer a standard GP post or for those in, or approaching, their first year post-CCT we offer a fellowship. A fellowship supports your post-CCT development in addition to adding a specialist interest something we encourage for all our team. We are seeking a specialist with experience in vasectomy and minor surgical procedures. Want to know more? Then come and have a chat with us either virtually or in person. We are a well-established training Practice for GPs, PAs, Pharmacists, Nurses and Advanced Clinical Practitioners. We encourage newly qualified GPs to undertake a 2 year Fellowship. Our Staff are awesome. There is strong managerial support and a very supportive peer group in place; twice daily reflection and learning opportunities, regular staff meetings and Partners who will encourage you. We have sausage roll Tuesdays, a Triathlon Team and great parties in the summer (when there are no pandemics). Everyone's door is always (metaphorically) open, and we encourage discussion and chat throughout the day. What is important to us? The right candidate. We want this to work for you and for us, so its important that you have a chance to check out that we are your square peg to our square hole. We are also prepared to wait for the candidate that is quietly looking at their next steps and perhaps isnt ready for an immediate change but an imminent change. Person specification

Essential

Good standard of general education
GMC registration and revalidation
CCT or will CCT within 6 months
Registration with a defence union
Experience in vasectomy and minor surgical procedures
Working within primary care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of IT skills to ideally include Microsoft office
Time management, prioritisation and the ability to work to deadlines.
Willingness to obtain necessary training and participate in on-going development
Ability to motivate patients to improve their health
Understanding of Primary Care and the Healthcare system
Flexibility
Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team, taking responsibility for managing own workload
Ability to work autonomously
