Six-Month Salaried GP Fixed Term/Maternity Cover Post

Six-Month Salaried GP Fixed Term/Maternity Cover Queensbridge Group Practice is looking for an enthusiastic GP to join our friendly team for a six-month maternity cover post, starting February 2027, with potential for extension. The role comprises 5 clinical sessions per week and offers 6 weeks' annual leave and 1 week of study leave, both pro rata. We are a well-established, high-performing NHS GP surgery in Hackney, serving a diverse community of around 10,000 patients. We value collaboration, continuity of care and fresh ideas, and are committed to ensuring our GPs feel supported, listened to and part of the team. We offer a supportive clinical environment with daily case discussions, weekly clinical meetings, opportunities for teaching and development, and a strong multidisciplinary team.

The successful GP will provide high-quality clinical care to patients registered at Queensbridge Group Practice as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Main duties include: Providing clinical consultations and delivering safe, effective and patient-centred care.

Working collaboratively with the wider practice team and multidisciplinary colleagues.

Participating in daily briefings for case discussion and team check-ins.

Participating in weekly clinical meetings covering complex cases, safeguarding and educational topics.
