Salaried GP

We are a friendly, well-established practice with a list size of approximately 13,500 patients, looking to recruit an enthusiastic GP to join our team, with a potential view to future partnership. Currently there are 3 partners supported by a team of 8 salaried GP's, 2 Advanced Care Practitioners, Nurse Prescribers, Practice Nurses and HCA's, 3 Pharmacists, 2 Pharmacy technicians, a dispensing team, care coordinators and a committed admin and management team. We are a training practice that works with Hull and York Medical School and currently support Year 4 medical students, GP Registrars and FY2's.

A typical working day includes: Morning clinic: 10 appointments with three protected admin slots Afternoon clinic: 10 appointments with three protected admin slots 15-minute appointments for both face-to-face and telephone consultations -There are no routine home visits during standard clinic sessions. Instead, one GP covers home visits for the practice on a rolling rota basis. -We don't have a Duty GP, instead we build in urgent appointments to all GP's rotas as part of their 20 slots for the day. -Built into the rota each day is a paid, dedicated 30-minute clinical meeting every afternoon, encouraging peer discussion, shared learning, and team support.

-We pride ourselves on providing a supportive and collaborative working environment with a strong emphasis on continuity of care, with all GPs holding their own patient lists. -We have been rated Good by CQC and are a consistently high QOF achieving practice. -The practice is a very desirable place to work with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. It is very important to the partners that this is maintained and developed.
