Consultant in T&O with an interest in Foot and Ankle Surgery

We are seeking a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in Foot and Ankle Surgery to support the delivery and continued development of services across Hywel Dda University Health Board. The successful candidate will join a supportive department providing both elective and emergency care, with opportunities to develop specialist foot and ankle services while contributing to a busy trauma unit. We are looking for a clinician committed to high-quality patient care, service development and multidisciplinary working. You will join a department that values professional development, collaboration and achieving the best possible outcomes for patients. Glangwili General Hospital is a designated Trauma Unit within the Welsh Major Trauma Network, working closely with the Major Trauma Centre at University Hospital Wales, Cardiff. The role offers opportunities to work across the region and contribute to the development of specialist services and care pathways throughout South West Wales.

The successful candidate will provide consultant-led care within Trauma & Orthopaedics, with a particular focus on the assessment, diagnosis and surgical management of foot and ankle conditions.
