Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is one of the largest Health Boards in Wales and was formed in 2019. Person specification

Essential

Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
MBBCh/MBBS/relevant medical degree
CCT/Portfolio (CESR) in Intensive Care Medicine
CCT/Portfolio (CESR) in 2nd specialty
Postgraduate Qualification in Intensive Care
Postgraduation Qualification in Emergency Medicine
Eligibility to work and live in the UK
Advanced Life Support and/or ATLS Provider
Experience of Out of hours / Hospital at night
Extensive experience in Intensive Care (+ allied specialty)
Experience of working in the NHS or equivalent healthcare system
Experience in audit and/or quality improvement
Experience of teaching undergraduates/ postgraduates
Able to work within a multidisciplinary teams
Able to communicate well in English with team members, patients and families
Honest, reliable and punctual
Able to escalate problems and seek help when need be
Able to work under pressure
Able to organise and prioritise workload
Flexible approach to work
IT skills

Desirable

Experience of working at Consultant level in ICM
Experience in Clinical Research
Formal qualification in teaching/education
Welsh Language speaker or learning
Qualification in bedside echocardiography/ultrasound
