About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen here at Bromleag Care Practice for a salaried GP to join our growing multi-disciplinary team. This post holder will work as one of a team of GPs, ANPs, Pharmacists and more, delivering general practice services to patients at Bromleag Care Practice. We provide comprehensive primary care to patients residing in Care Homes and Extra Care Housing within the Borough of Bromley. At all times the post holder must act in a professional manner consistent with the code of conduct expected from medical practitioners representing Bromleag Care Practice and the NHS.
Provide proactive care to support and improve the health and wellbeing of residents in Care Homes and Extra Care Housing. In line with the agreed practice timetable, the post holder will undertake duties including home visits, telephone and video consultations, managing repeat prescriptions, and handling queries, paperwork, and correspondence promptly. Deliver accessible, personalised, responsive, and flexible care. Make autonomous clinical decisions for patients, whether self-referred or referred by other healthcare professionals. Screen patients for risk factors and early signs of illness. Provide high-quality clinical care using expert knowledge and skills to assess, implement, and monitor treatment, ensuring the highest standards are maintained. Keep accurate and up-to-date consultation records and complete clinical letters or summaries. Apply principles of clinical governance and risk management. Comply with all relevant policies and guidelines, including KPIs, prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, and health and safety. Commit to continuous learning, audit, and evidence-based practice. Contribute to audits, clinical standards, and development of patient records, including summarising notes and coding data.Attending training and events organised by the practice or other agencies, where appropriate. Ensure death certificates are completed promptly and in line with Medical Examiner and Registrar requirements.
