Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist subspecialty expertise in MRI CT

Applications are invited for a Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist with subspecialty expertise in congenital cardiac MRI and CT scanning to join the Paediatric Cardiology Service within Evelina London Women's & Children's Clinical Group. This is a full-time post. It is a requirement of your employment that you be prepared to work at any additional or different location owned or served by the Trust, either on an on-going or temporary basis according to the demands of the service.

This post is full time (10 programmed activities) with the option for additional programmed activities available.

This role will immerse the successful applicant fully within the paediatric cardiology team by undertaking cover of the inpatient service, outpatient clinics and support of clinics throughout the wider paediatric congenital heart network. The subspecialty activity is to provide specialist imaging in congenital cardiac MRI and cardiac CT.

The successful candidate will be on call for general paediatric cardiology.

The post-holder will have regular contact with vulnerable adults and/or children (0-18 years) and therefore this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such, it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Criminal Records Bureau to check for any previous criminal convictions.
