Join Us in Transforming Frailty Care at QEH We are excited to invite applications for Consultant Geriatricians to join our forward thinking team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital as we launch a brand new, innovative clinical model of care for older and frail adultsat Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) in 2026. What's New? We are introducing two key services co-located within Ward 22: Frailty Same Day Emergency Care (Frailty SDEC) - A high-turnover, same-day assessment unit to reduce unnecessary admissions through rapid access to CGA and multidisciplinary care. Acute Frailty Unit (AFU) - A short stay unit offering specialist-led treatment, early therapy input, and integrated discharge planning. Your Role: Lead delivery of Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment from the point of admission. Provide senior clinical decision-making and mentor junior staff. Collaborate across the Acute and Frailty Pathways to improve flow and outcomes. Drive innovation, quality improvement, and integrated working with community services. Why Join Us?
