Salaried GP

The Devonshire Lodge Practice is a well established, high performing NHS practice serving a diverse community of around 8,500 patients. We are a visionary, forward-thinking and progressive GP practice where quality of patients care and clinician wellbeing genuinely matter. We are seeking for a salaried GP to become part of our supportive and collaborative team. The role is for 2-3 sessions per week, preferably Thursday and Friday. The candidate must be fully registered with the General Medical Council, have suitable medical indemnity insurance, and be listed on the performers list for general medical services.

Deliver a mix of routine and urgent GP consultations ( face-to-face and telephone as clinically appropriate ). Manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions. Provide appropriate prescribing, investigation, and referrals. Ensure safe and effective clinical decision making and safety-netting. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records. Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team. Participate in clinical meetings and practice development activitties.

At The Devonshire Lodge Practice, we have a fantastic clinical and administration team. the clinical team consist of GP partners, salaried GPs, practice nurse, HCA, clinical pharmacists, mental health practitioner, social prescriber and FCP. The admin team consists of care coordinators and admin/reception staff who are all well trained to support both patients and clinicians. The practice uses EMIS, DOCMAN, AccuRx and Rapid Health total tirage system.
