General Practitioner

We are looking for experienced or newly qualified GPs to join us. Southover Medical Practice are looking for a salaried GP for 2 sessions per week. Our GPs, patients and practice teams benefit from innovative tech and workflow management processes. This approach improves patient access and hugely streamlines administrative tasks, freeing up GPs to focus on clinical work with the support of highly trained multi-disciplinary teams. Main Responsibilities: Key duties will include: To deliver high quality clinical care to the patients registered and attending the GP surgery and to work closely with the clinical leads and local practice team to support the delivery of the surgeries operational plan. You will strive to maintain qualify within the practice ensuring participation in clinical governance activity and contribute to the improvement in qualify health outcomes through audit and the Quality and Outcomes Framework and contributing to the practice achieving other qualify standards to include CQC standards

Key duties will include delivering high quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery, working closely with clinical leads and practice teams, participation in clinical governance and quality improvement activities, providing clinical care in line with the job plan, and supporting the development and delivery of the surgery action plan. What you will need includes current registration with GMC and NHS performers list, GP accreditation, commitment to quality and patient-focused services, and knowledge of relevant frameworks and systems.
