Nexus Health Group - Southeast London - Triage GP (No admin - scope for remote working after 3 months) - 12 months fixed term
£12,000 per session per annum
Nexus Health Group is an at scale, innovative NHS GP practice in North Southwark, Southeast London, formed out of 5 long established GP practices nearly 10 years ago. We provide care to over 75,000 patients from one list across 8 sites.
This is a brand new post for an initial 12 month fixed term period. This position will be site based at the brand new purpose built Harold Moody Health Centre for the first 3 months working with our access hub. Following a satisfactory 3 month period, the role would then be suitable for remote working.
We require triage cover across the day between 9am and 7pm and this role can offer flexibility with session start times.

To provide Personal Medical Health Services to the practice patient list and local population in accordance with relevant current legislation under the National Health Service Regulations and in accordance with national, local and agreed practice protocols. These include managing a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. The poster-holder will Work as part of a Total Triage team of GPs, nurses, GP Assistants and receptionists to triage incoming AccuRx medical forms for the whole of Nexus. Deliver high-intensity digital triage of medical forms to a consistently high standard This is a non patient facing role but you will need to occasionally speak to patients on the phone. This role does not attract additional admin Minimum expected throughput - 30 patients plus per hour The post holder will Perform rapid clinical assessment, prioritisation, and safe disposition Resolve appropriate clinical and administrative issues within a single interaction Escalate, refer, or signpost patients safely and appropriately Communicate clearly, confidently, and empathetically within time-limited consultations Use digital platforms (including AccuRx) as a core clinical tool Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records Work as part of a highly integrated multidisciplinary team Learn and adhere to local systems, pathways, and operational processes
