About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the sexual health team in Sunderland. The postholder will deliver high-quality, inclusive clinical care across Sunderland and play an active role in service development, improving access, equity and outcomes for local communities. Candidates should have the following: Medical Degree:MBBS or equivalent. Registration:Full GMC registration with a License to Practice. Specialization:Entry on the GMC Specialist Register (or within 6 months of CCT) in Genitourinary Medicine or Community Sexual and Reproductive Health. Accreditations:Membership of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (MFSRH) and letters of competence for IUT/SD. Dip GUM Experience:Extensive experience in Contraception Community Gynaecology GUM, HIV, and Reproductive Health. Communication:Exceptional communication skills for delivering sensitive information. Leadership:Ability to motivate a multidisciplinary team and manage change. Sensitive Approach:Ability to work in a non-judgmental, inclusive, and compassionate manner. Analytical Skills:Ability to assess complex symptoms and situations.
