Locum Consultant Urologist

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Locum Consultant in Urology to join the team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. This full-time post will be based primarily at our new Elective Surgical Hub at King George Hospital, with additional cross-site responsibilities at Queen's Hospital. These are fixed-term locum consultant appointments, each for a period of 12 months. The appointees will be key members of the multidisciplinary team, helping to deliver specialist care to a growing population and contributing to the department's academic and clinical reputation through teaching, training, and education.

Locum Consultant Urologist The appointees will: o Have a continuing responsibility for the clinical care of patients in his/her charge and for the proper functioning of the department. o Deliver a high quality responsive surgical service to the patients who use it o Be responsible for providing appropriate inpatient cover to patients o Undertake the administrative duties associated with the care of patients and the running of a clinical department. o Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current surgical practice. o Maintain his/her professional development with all available training opportunities and ensure compliance with mandatory training o Work with other Consultant colleagues as a team o Take part in the urology on-call rota
