Main Duties of the Role The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care to our registered patient population across Earls Barton Medical Centre and Penvale Park Medical Centre. The role includes undertaking face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations; diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions; prescribing medication; reviewing test results; and making appropriate referrals to secondary care and community services. The post holder will work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team, contributing to the delivery of safe, effective, and responsive clinical care. They will participate in practice meetings, clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the teaching and supervision of other healthcare professionals where appropriate. The role also includes maintaining accurate clinical records, adhering to GMC and NHS standards, and supporting the practices in achieving high standards of patient care and service delivery.
