We are strengthening our collaboration with Bradford todeliver a robust, sustainable and truly integrated stroke service for ourlocal population--creating a model that is both innovative andfuture-proof. We are recruiting a third Consultant to join the team, as one of ourvalued colleagues transitions to reduced hours through aretire-and-return arrangement. You will therefore play a crucial role inenhancing capacity, strengthening resilience, and driving continuedservice development. Our team works across two sites, giving our clinicians broad exposureand the opportunity to work across the full continuum of stroke care: o Bradford Royal Infirmary - providing hyperacute stroke services forour population.o Airedale General Hospital - home to our acute stroke and strokerehabilitation services. This is a 10PA role, but we warmly welcome applicants seeking lessthan full-time opportunities. What is essential is participation in the1-in-6 on-call rota for our thrombolysis service. o Work collaboratively within a strong multidisciplinary team, includingspecialist nurses, therapists and colleagues from across medicalspecialties, to deliver safe, person-centred stroke care.o Offer expert input into inpatient referrals from other medical wards,including the Acute Assessment Unit, ensuring timely andappropriate clinical decision-making.o Provide clinical supervision and support to Resident Doctors andother junior medical staff, contributing to their development,education and wellbeing.o Participate actively in clinical governance, including audit, qualityimprovement, morbidity and mortality processes, and servicedevelopment initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and servicesustainability.o Meet professional registration requirements, including full GMCregistration with a current Licence to Practice, and entry on theSpecialist Register (or within six months of achieving CCT/equivalentat the time of interview).
