Lead GP

The GP Lead will provide senior clinical leadership within the practice, combining high-quality patient care with a key role in shaping and developing services. The post holder will play an important part in the delivery of APMS services, supporting the achievement of contractual and quality targets while driving continuous improvement across the practice. The role will also contribute to the development of innovative, digitally enabled primary care services, helping to ensure that care remains accessible, effective and responsive to the needs of patients and the wider community.

This role combines clinical delivery, leadership, service development and digital transformation, supporting the practice to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care to a diverse population. The post holder will work closely with the Practice Manager, together providing the day-to-day clinical leadership and management for the practice. This close working relationship will support effective decision-making, continuous improvement and the delivery of high-quality services.
