Consultant in Trauma and Pelvic Surgery

Candidates must be eligible for their own GMC registration - MFT cannot support GMC Sponsorship for candidates who are offered permanent vacancies. This is full time position with 10 programmed activities spread throughout the week. The post holder will form part of the T&O team delivering pelvic trauma services. The appointee should also be able to demonstrate competency in dealing with pelvic and general trauma. The successful candidate should have completed at least six months in a fellowship position The appointment together with the supporting infra-structure will assist the Directorate of Trauma and Orthopaedics to continue to: oA comprehensive pelvic trauma service including the management of polytrauma oGeneral trauma as part of on-call rota oFracture clinic oParticipation in the major trauma consultant of the week rota oElective hip arthroplasty theatre and outpatient
